Origin Protocol files B-1 disclosure and details OGN buybacks
Origin Protocol has filed a B-1 disclosure document through the Blockworks token transparency framework, laying out details of its OGN buyback program along with information on governance, token allocation, and risk factors. According to the filing, the protocol has used more than $3.5 million in protocol fees since 2025 to repurchase over 100 million OGN, equal to about 14.8% of total supply. The filing says the buybacks were funded by net protocol fees from products including OETH and OUSD. Purchased tokens are distributed to xOGN stakers, and the program has not involved any new token issuance. The document also states that about 47% of circulating OGN is currently locked as xOGN. The update was cited by Techub News, with CryptoBriefing named as the source in the item.
