Ethereum liquid staking protocol Rocket Pool has introduced an RPIP proposal to develop an on-chain signal voting system, replacing the current Snapshot-based off-chain voting mechanism. The proposal highlights that Snapshot's recently launched Pro version ($600/month) includes the complex delegated voting strategies required by Rocket Pool. Migrating to on-chain voting would eliminate dependency on external platforms while preserving the override logic of delegated governance, enhancing governance integrity and decentralization.
