Gate posts $276 billion futures volume in July 2026 transparency report
Gate released its July 2026 transparency report, outlining growth across spot and derivatives trading, TradFi-linked products, and newer trading segments. The exchange said it launched zero-fee trading for U.S. stocks and ETFs during the month, while also adding gStocks, stock copy trading, and yield features for account assets. Its stock and ETF offering covered more than 12,500 assets, with ETF products expanding to 386 trading pairs and monthly trading volume reaching about $20 billion. The report also highlighted demand for pre-listing assets. According to Gate, cumulative subscriptions for Pre-IPOs OpenAI exceeded $260 million. In its innovation segment, the platform said average daily trading volume in the event contract market rose by more than 13% month over month, while market share briefly topped 36%, a record high. CandyDrop contract volume surpassed $4.6 billion, Launchpool cumulative staking reached $490 million, and SLX peak APR rose above 135%. Citing CoinDesk data, Gate said total network-wide trading volume in RWA perpetual contracts climbed to $460 billion in July, also a record. Gate held a 4.39% share of that market, ranking among the top three centralized exchanges globally. The company added that its July futures trading volume hit $276 billion, with derivatives market share at 9.08% and open interest market share at 11.2%.
