Sushi CEO floats idea of acquiring Blur, says he is open to talks with team members

Sushi CEO Alex McCurry publicly raised the idea of acquiring Blur after reposting a message that said Blur will discontinue its frontend on Nov. 12. In his post, McCurry wrote, "Should we acquire Blur? If anyone on the team wants to get in touch, I’d be happy to talk." The remark was made on social media and, based on the available source material, stands as a public expression of interest rather than a confirmed transaction process. The post ties McCurry’s comment directly to the circulation of the message about Blur’s frontend being deprecated on Nov. 12. No further details were provided in the source about any formal offer, deal terms, or response from Blur.

Altcoins posted broad gains on Sept. 6, with Layer 2, DeFi and DEX tokens leading the move, according to HTX market data cited by BlockBeats. ARB rose more than 51% in 24 hours to $0.1997, RAY climbed more than 42% to $1.177, and SUSHI gained more than 24% to $0.2385. On BNB Chain, BOME, 1000CAT, MARSCOIN and TUT rose alongside BNB’s break above $780. The altcoin season index increased to 40, indicating that around 40 of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization had outperformed Bitcoin over the past 90 days, while total altcoin market cap climbed to $1.10 trillion. Pools.fun Adjusts New Pool Fee Split: 90% to Issuers, Half of Protocol Share Goes to Buy Back and Burn BNKR

Pools.fun, the token launch platform created by Sushi, has adjusted its fee distribution for new pools in response to community feedback, according to an Odaily report. Under the updated mechanism, token issuers receive 90% of trading fees generated by new pools. The remaining 10% is allocated to the protocol. Half of that protocol share will then be used to buy back and burn BNKR tokens. The platform also said it will airdrop about $120,000 in BNKR to users on its Pools leaderboard. Pools.fun is also rolling out a Fees to Holders feature, allowing projects to send trading fees to token holders at issuance. On top of that, the platform plans to integrate 194 Robinhood stock tokens, enabling projects to pair with the related tokenized equities, according to the announcement. The announcement covers the adjusted fee split, the planned airdrop, the new Fees to Holders feature, and the upcoming expansion to Robinhood stock tokens.

Uniswap Brings Launchpad to Robinhood Chain as Bankr, Sushi Team Up

Uniswap has formally launched its launchpad platform pools.trade on the Robinhood chain, drawing strong attention from the crypto community before its official debut. According to Hayden Adams, the platform has processed over $150 million in cumulative trading volume through on-chain token launches and trading. The move has unsettled existing launchpad players. Bankr founder @0xDeployer and several other industry figures criticized its move as monopolistic. pons, a previously popular Robinhood chain issuance platform, saw its token market cap fall from a peak of $67 million to below $20 million over several consecutive days. Around the same time, Bankr's founder and Sushi's founder hinted at closer cooperation, potentially building pools.fun together. Analysts suggest Bankr could migrate its Robinhood launch process from Doppler/Uniswap v4 to Sushi's launch while keeping the distribution layer. BlockBeats says the launchpad war on Robinhood chain has reached a fever pitch, with the market lacking not platforms or liquidity but narratives and innovations that drive user FOMO.

SushiSwap says Season 1 of its Perps points campaign will end on July 31

SushiSwap said Season 1 of its Perps points campaign is set to end on July 31. According to the information cited by Foresight News, Perps points are allocated based on a user’s perpetual futures trading volume on Sushi Perps, with the program divided into eight tiers. Once a user moves up to a higher tier, the multiplier attached to that tier is locked in and applies for the entire season. Points earned during the campaign will later be converted into a SUSHI airdrop on a proportional basis. The update outlines the closing date of the first-season program and restates how points, tier boosts, and the eventual token distribution are calculated.
