Saturn2026-09-22 06:47:20Saturn to upgrade sUSDat to V2 and move STRC reserves to Ondo STRConSaturn Foundation said it is upgrading sUSDat to V2 and moving STRC reserves to Ondo’s STRCon, with reserves publicly verifiable on-chain. The foundation said users will not need to migrate or swap their sUSDat during the process. The rollout follows a dated schedule: on Sept. 25, Saturn will propose the upgrade and slow redemptions; on Sept. 28, it will begin transferring STRC and pause redemptions; on Sept. 30, it will execute V2 and propose the migration; on Oct. 2, it plans to execute the migration; and on Oct. 5, redemptions are expected to resume. Saturn also outlined time-based fees. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, the system will run in normal mode with 0% minting fees and 0.1% redemption fees. Outside those hours, it will switch to boosted mode, with minting fees at 0.25% and redemption fees at 0.5%. Saturn added that the sUSDat vault will launch in boosted mode first, then return to normal mode after the migration is completed. All minting and redemption fees will be returned to the vault.440
Saturn2026-09-20 15:27:01Saturn study says leading AI models get personal finance answers wrong 57% of the timeA study released by UK fintech company Saturn found that leading AI models produced incorrect answers to personal finance questions 57% of the time. The research tested 18 free and paid models, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Copilot, using 121 questions and generating more than 10,000 responses. According to the report, the errors ranged from factual mistakes to missing key information and failing to include necessary warnings. The error rate climbed to 88% on harder multi-step questions, while free models performed worst with a 63% error rate. Saturn said the best-performing model, Claude Opus 5, still posted a 39% error rate in reasoning mode. Its mistakes included calculation errors, overlooking tax changes, and citing rules that do not exist. Saturn CEO Amal Jolly said millions of people rely on AI for financial guidance, but wrong answers can lead to financial losses. At the same time, trust in AI tools continues to rise. An EY global survey found that 49% of consumers had used AI to help with saving and investment decisions. A report from the UK Financial Conduct Authority said four in five first-time investors had used AI tools, and 56% said they trusted AI, above the 47% recorded for television and radio.410

Strategy2026-07-30 02:04:07Strategy’s Falling Stretch Preferred Shares Put Apyx and Saturn’s DeFi Dollar Products Under PressureStrategy’s Stretch preferred shares, listed under the ticker STRC, have become a pressure point for two DeFi protocols that built yield products around the security. According to Forbes, Apyx and Saturn together manage nearly $490 million, with Artemis analyst Zheng Jie Lim estimating that about $267 million was directly exposed to Stretch as of July 21. The damage has already shown up in token pricing: Apyx’s synthetic dollar apxUSD briefly fell below $0.80 in late June before recovering to around $0.90 on Kraken and Curve, while Saturn’s yield-bearing sUSDat was worth roughly $0.90 USDat. The structure of both protocols relies heavily on Stretch as reserve collateral, leaving them vulnerable to further declines in the preferred stock. Market participants cited in the report said leverage loops on Morpho and yield-splitting on Pendle can magnify the stress, though some argued the products are not yet large enough to trigger a broader crypto contagion. The report also said Strategy has started selling Bitcoin and raising equity to shore up liquidity while Michael Saylor’s company revises the way it presents its mNAV metric.2240
