Sight says it is building SightEVM, a prediction-market L2 with SGT as the sole gas token

Prediction market project Sight said it is moving ahead with SightEVM, an EVM-based layer-2 network built specifically for prediction markets. The project said the goal is to reduce reliance on gas pricing set by underlying chains. According to Sight, Robinhood Chain will remain one of the deployment networks, while its contracts will also be deployed on other EVM chains. Sight added that gas fees on SightEVM will be paid only in SGT, and that it does not plan to issue a separate token for the chain. The team also said fees, block parameters, and capacity are intended to be set by SightEVM itself, while the underlying chain will handle settlement and data availability.
