CoinW sets Sept. 28 online summit for its ninth anniversary, with Alibaba Cloud, SlowMist and VeChain joining
CoinW said it will hold an online summit at 20:00 Beijing time on Sept. 28, 2026, to mark its ninth anniversary, with company executives appearing alongside ecosystem partners including Alibaba Cloud, SlowMist and VeChain. The exchange said it now serves users in more than 200 countries and regions, has surpassed 20 million registered users, and ranks among the top three derivatives exchanges on CoinGecko. In the announcement, CoinW used the event to outline its next-stage strategy, centered on expanding from a trading venue into a broader crypto ecosystem and, in its own framing, a future "super app." The company also highlighted the July 2026 upgrade of its platform token to CoinW Coin (CWC), describing the token as a link across platform benefits, trading use cases, ecosystem services and partner networks, including AI tools, on-chain infrastructure, community governance and RWA-related scenarios. The release also emphasized security investments, including a real-time risk control engine, zero-trust architecture, self-developed MPC wallet technology, HSM, security chips, and hot-cold wallet separation, as well as work with Hacken and CertiK. CoinW further pointed to 2026 brand deals with Luka Modrić and Conor McGregor and included comments from Chief Communications Officer Yoka on the company’s direction over the next decade.
