THORChain says v3.21 will restore SOL and ZEC trading, while XMR remains pending
THORChain said on X that version 3.21 has been released with a set of network fixes that are expected to return the protocol to full functionality. The upgrade is scheduled around halt block 28,366,100, with downtime expected between Oct. 23, 21:40 and 23:20. The update addresses several issues across the network. THORChain said it fixed a SwapKit affiliate fee payment issue, allowing SwapKit to re-enable THORChain for multiple integrators. It also fixed a problem caused by a new Solana transaction type, which should allow SOL trading to resume, and resolved an outbound matching issue that had led to vault slashing, clearing the way for ZEC trading to return. The protocol said that issue did not result in any loss of funds. Other fixes cover a recent FIN contract vulnerability tied to Rujira, which should allow the application layer to resume, a bug that caused state bloat and had disabled limit swaps, and dynamic pricing for swaps without memos to deal with spam transactions. THORChain also introduced a new streaming yield feature in v3.21. Once enabled through Mimir, bond providers will be able to send part of their bond yield directly to their wallets without waiting for node operator churn. XMR was not included in this release, and the remaining fixes are planned for v3.21.1, with no confirmed date yet.
