Team8 raises $365 million across new fund and follow-on capital

Venture capital firm Team8 has closed $365 million in fresh capital, made up of $265 million for Team8 Capital’s third fund and more than $100 million earmarked for follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies. The firm said the new vehicle will target seed and Series A AI-native startups across cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, and fintech. Its focus includes infrastructure projects that help enterprises deploy AI while maintaining security, governance, and control. Team8 also said its assets under management are now nearing $2 billion. The firm has previously backed a number of crypto and AI companies, including institutional cryptocurrency wallet developer Curv, AI compliance platform IVIX, and AI data loss prevention company Jazz.
