GiggleFund Files USPTO Trademark Application for NIANNIAN via Holding Entity

GiggleFund, the official X account of meme token GIGGLE, announced that it has filed a federal trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its token NIANNIAN through a newly established holding entity, Giggle Holdings. The application covers cryptocurrency exchange, transfer, and trading services and was submitted in the form of a standard character mark, the team said. According to the announcement, the next step is a review by a trademark examining attorney. If the application passes examination, it will enter a 30-day opposition period, after which registration may be granted. The team also noted that, once the trademark is registered, it plans to request the removal of copycat projects from platforms such as Dexscreener and PancakeSwap. GiggleFund stressed that the filing is only an application for record and does not mean the trademark has already been registered. The announcement was made via a post on X, citing the new holding entity's role in the filing.

YMTC rejects claims that its core 3D NAND patent claims were all invalidated

Yangtze Memory Technologies Co. (YMTC) said on July 29 that online claims alleging the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ruled all 19 claims of its core 3D NAND patent invalid on July 28 were "seriously misleading." The company also rejected another circulating claim that "all related YMTC concept stocks plunged," calling it a malicious fabrication built on the same misleading information and saying it was seriously inconsistent with the facts. In the same statement, YMTC said that since November 2023 it has filed patent infringement lawsuits against Micron Technology in the United States involving 27 patents and 295 patent claims. Those cases remain under review. YMTC added that it would not comment on ongoing litigation and said relevant case developments can be checked through public channels.
