Bitget launches cross-asset UTA, adds 100 tokenized U.S. stocks as margin

Bitget has introduced what it calls the first cross-asset Unified Trading Account, or UTA, in the industry, bringing more than 370 assets into a single margin pool. The rollout includes 100 tokenized U.S. stock products under its rToken line, allowing eligible holdings to be used not only as investment exposure but also as margin and collateral inside one account. According to the company, users can combine cryptocurrencies, tokenized U.S. equities and other real-world-asset-related holdings in the same account for derivatives trading, leveraged positions and collateralized borrowing. Bitget frames the product as the third stage in the evolution of unified accounts: from single-currency margin systems, to multi-crypto margin pools, and now to a cross-asset framework that includes tokenized stocks and RWA products. The company said rToken can serve three functions inside UTA: holding exposure to the underlying asset’s price performance, contributing to account margin, and being pledged to borrow stablecoins. Bitget also said the 100 supported rToken assets cover large-cap U.S. names, broad market indexes, preferred shares, technology, semiconductors, AI infrastructure, finance, consumer, energy, healthcare and communications.

Bitget launches cross-asset unified account with more than 370 assets

Bitget has rolled out what it calls the industry’s first cross-asset Unified Trading Account, or UTA, bringing more than 370 assets into a single margin pool. The lineup includes 100 tokenized U.S. stocks, referred to as rToken, which can now serve more than one function inside the platform. Under the structure, users holding rToken assets can not only receive stock dividends tied to those positions, but also use the same assets as margin and as collateral for borrowing. Bitget said the setup is designed to improve capital efficiency by letting users deploy one pool of assets across multiple trading and financing functions. The first batch of tokenized U.S. stock assets added to the margin system includes 100 mainstream names such as Apple (rAAPL), Nvidia (rNVDA), and Tesla (rTSLA). The exchange said haircut rates are assigned by asset tier, with the maximum reaching 95%. Bitget added that it plans to expand the list of assets eligible for margin use and leveraged trading as the product is updated, aiming to connect liquidity between traditional financial assets and crypto trading scenarios.

Bitget launches Cash Plus with USDT and USDC support

Bitget has rolled out Cash Plus, a platform-level yield product designed to offer flexible stablecoin returns. The product initially supports USDT and USDC and is positioned around three features: yield generation, liquidity, and capital efficiency. Users earn returns with daily compounding while keeping the ability to redeem at any time on a 1:1 basis, with funds credited in real time and no fees or principal loss from redemption. At launch, Cash Plus carries a reference annual percentage rate of 4% APR, though Bitget said actual returns will adjust with market conditions. The exchange also said it plans to integrate the product into its Unified Trading Account, or UTA, in the third quarter. Once that integration is completed, balances held in Cash Plus will continue to earn yield while also being usable directly as trading margin, allowing the same capital to serve both earning and trading functions.

Phyrex says Bitget’s rToken value lies in composability, not just tokenized stocks

Crypto KOL Phyrex published a breakdown of rToken, issued by Reality under Bitget, arguing that the product should not be viewed simply as a tokenized stock. In his view, the main value of rToken comes from asset composability after being connected to a unified account structure, which addresses the liquidity silos that have limited real-world asset (RWA) products. Phyrex highlighted three trading strategies that he said can be put into use directly: increasing directional exposure to U.S. equities, running delta-neutral arbitrage, and using staking and lending loops. He also outlined three mechanisms that matter for institutions. These include direct routing to U.S. stock order books to avoid de-pegging risk, joint margin under a Unified Trading Account (UTA) to improve capital efficiency, and weekend collateral valuation anchored to Friday’s closing price for tighter risk control. Under that setup, users can manage crypto, tokenized equities, and derivatives positions within the same account, reducing the need to rebalance across platforms and move funds between venues.
