Stock Meme Coins Pair With Tokenized Equities as NVDA and HIMS Pools Draw Traders

A new on-chain trading format is pairing meme coins with tokenized U.S. equities, using assets such as NVDA, GME, TSLA, HIMS and SPCX as liquidity pools for newly issued Stock Meme tokens. The activity has gained traction on Robinhood Chain through platforms such as LONG.xyz and has spread to BSC and Solana. The structure combines meme-coin speculation with exposure to the price of the underlying stock token. AI/NVDA briefly reached a market capitalization between $100 million and $190 million, while BONER/HIMS grew from several million dollars to nearly $100 million during a weekend market closure. Rabbit/WYFI exceeded $10 million shortly after launch. The arrangement also carries a significant structural risk: the meme coins do not have a 1:1 redemption relationship with the underlying stock tokens. Those tokens serve as quoted assets rather than collateral backed by fiat currency or actual shares. A decline in trading interest could leave the meme coins exposed to depegging, a sharp contraction in their premium and an abrupt withdrawal of liquidity.

Rabbit stock-meme token on Robinhood chain climbs to $15.56 million market cap in 9 hours

A stock-meme token called Rabbit has quickly gained traction on Robinhood chain, according to BlockBeats. Data cited from GMGN showed that Rabbit, issued through the o1 platform and paired with U.S. stock WYFI, passed a $15 million market cap within nine hours of launch and was quoted at $15.56 million at the time of writing. The move followed another stock-meme token, BONER, which was paired with HIMS and had previously surged to a $70 million market cap. BlockBeats said Rabbit’s name traces back to public information around CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, which recently developed an open-source, fiber-based high-precision time synchronization protocol called rabbit. The protocol can deliver sub-nanosecond precision, has been incorporated into IEEE standards, and is already used in quantum experiments and emerging quantum network infrastructure. WYFI, the stock paired with Rabbit, is described as an AI infrastructure company listed in 2025 with businesses in data centers and HPC cloud services. As of publication, BIT(bit.com) market data showed WYFI down 0.74% in after-hours trading. The report also said Rabbit’s rapid rise was closely tied to position calls from bonk guy, a leading KOL on the fomo platform. BlockBeats cautioned that tokens in this category can see sharp price swings and that users should be careful when investing.

EIP-8363 sparks fierce Ethereum debate over staking rewards, centralization, and treasury-company risk

A draft Ethereum Improvement Proposal, EIP-8363, has triggered one of the sharpest governance fights in the network’s recent history by proposing a gradual burn of validator issuance rewards as the staking ratio approaches half of ETH supply. Backers argue the mechanism would cap excessive staking, slow net supply growth, and reinforce ETH’s scarcity case. Critics say it could do the opposite of what it intends: squeeze out independent stakers, leave exchanges and custodians with an even larger role, disrupt DeFi’s implicit benchmark rate, and weaken the economics behind liquid staking. The debate reaches well beyond protocol researchers. Aave founder Stani Kulechov, Lido, ether.fi, and several listed ETH treasury companies have all become part of the conversation because the proposal could cut a meaningful share of staking-linked revenue. Under estimates cited in the source article, validator issuance returns at the current staking ratio could fall from about 2.6% to around 1.2%, while total validator returns would decline by less because fees and MEV would remain untouched. The proposal is still at the Draft stage and was not included in the confirmed proposal list for the Hegotá upgrade, but the fight has already exposed a deeper split inside Ethereum over how much staking is enough and who should be paid for securing the chain.
