Matrixdock2026-10-28 10:41:03Matrixdock expands its RWA push with XAGm, adding tokenized silver to a broader reserve-layer strategyReal-world asset tokenization is moving past the question of which assets can be brought on-chain and toward a harder one: how to keep those assets verifiable and functional once they are tokenized. In that context, Matrixdock, the RWA tokenization platform under BIT, formerly Matrixport, is using its silver token XAGm as a test case for a different product design approach. According to the article, XAGm launched in March 2026 with LBMA Good Delivery silver held in institutional vaults as backing, and each token initially represented one troy ounce of physical silver. To address the ongoing storage and custody costs tied to silver, Matrixdock introduced its Fungible Reserve Standard, or FRS, which uses an ozPerToken parameter that declines daily based on a 0.3% annualized custody fee. Token balances do not shrink, but the amount of silver represented by each token changes over time. The report also says Matrixdock completed its fourth consecutive semiannual independent reserve audit in July 2026, with Bureau Veritas covering 574 gold and silver bars, including 66 silver bars totaling 65,934 troy ounces. The audit confirmed that XAGm’s silver reserves matched circulating supply when calculated using the applicable ozPerToken value. The company has also extended XAGm to Sui, alongside its existing Ethereum deployment, as it builds out what it calls an on-chain Reserve Layer with products including STBT, XAUm, and XAGm.60
Matrixdock2026-07-21 09:29:26Matrixdock completes fourth semiannual reserve audit as XAGm joins verification scopeMatrixdock, the RWA tokenization platform under BIT, has completed its fourth consecutive semiannual independent reserve audit and its second straight year of reserve verification by Bureau Veritas. The latest review expanded beyond tokenized gold product XAUm to include tokenized silver product XAGm for the first time, bringing both precious metal reserve pools under the same verification process. According to the audit results, Bureau Veritas carried out physical checks on Matrixdock’s underlying metal holdings and found them consistent with the company’s records, with no discrepancies identified. The review covered 574 gold and silver bars from LBMA-accredited refiners stored across Malca-Amit Singapore, Brink's Hong Kong, and Brink's Singapore. As of the audit date, XAUm reserves covered 16,331.184 troy ounces of gold against 16,331.179 tokens in circulation, while XAGm covered 65,934 troy ounces of silver against 65,998.551 circulating tokens after applying the stated ozPerToken ratio. Matrixdock said the repeated use of the same external verifier supports a consistent long-term validation framework, which it refers to as its Reserve Transparency Stack.1000
