Bybit rolls out redesigned app homepage with new Stocks and Macro Assets tabs

Bybit said its app homepage has been redesigned starting with version 5.26.0, introducing a multi-tab layout that now includes All, Crypto, Stocks, Macro Assets, Earn, and Alpha. The update adds two new sections. The new Macro Assets tab brings together commodities, foreign exchange, precious metals, and indexes. It also lets users compare BTC performance with traditional assets, view an economic calendar and FX cross-rate matrix, and place trades directly. Bybit said the All and Crypto tabs have also been optimized in the redesign, while Earn and Alpha remain unchanged. The company added that some tabs, asset classes, or functions, including but not limited to Stocks and Macro Assets, may be unavailable or differ in certain countries or regions because of local laws and regulations.

Zodl tells iOS users to pause in-app voting until v3.10.2 fix arrives

Zodl, a mobile wallet for Zcash, has told iOS users to stop using in-app tokenholder voting until the team releases version 3.10.2. The warning follows a bug in which an interrupted submission may still register a wallet for the current voting round. Zodl said the fix is being treated as a priority. The team also noted that more than two weeks remain in the voting window, so users do not need to rush to cast a vote before the update is available. For users who see the error message 「wallet already registered」, Zodl said they should contact official support. The wallet provider also advised affected users not to reopen the voting menu, uninstall the app, clear data, reset the wallet, or expose their recovery phrase while the issue is being handled.

Bitkey says inheritance feature bug was fixed with no loss of user funds

Bitkey, the Bitcoin wallet backed by Block, said a flaw affecting its recovery and inheritance setup flow was disclosed on Aug. 1 and fixed the same day, with no user funds lost. According to the report cited by Techub News, the issue existed only during a specific window in the registration process tied to those features. The team said exploitation required strict conditions and that its defense-in-depth design would block unauthorized access. On Aug. 2, Bitkey hosted an X Space to discuss the incident publicly and thanked the security researcher involved. The patch is now live, and users only need to update the app. Bitkey said user funds were never at risk.
