Standard Chartered launches digital asset custody in Luxembourg and DIFC

Standard Chartered said it is now offering digital asset custody services in Luxembourg and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The bank said its authorized partnership with LMAX covers its Luxembourg entity and its Dubai branch. It also said a separate collateral link will let clients trade using tokens held in the bank’s custody. The update outlines the locations involved, the scope of the LMAX arrangement, and how clients may use custodied tokens in trading activity.
