A-Share Digital Currency Concept Stocks Rally, Hengbao Hits Daily Limit

According to Odaily Planet Daily, shares of companies tied to China's digital currency theme rose during the latest trading session. Hengbao hit the daily limit, while SFIT, Cuiwei, Lakala, and Chutian Dragon also advanced. The move came as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology disclosed operating data for the digital industry in the first half of 2026. The data showed that industry revenue reached 20.71 trillion yuan, representing an increase of 13.6% year on year. Compared with the same period a year earlier, the growth rate accelerated by 4.1 percentage points; compared with the first quarter, it accelerated by 0.7 percentage points. The industry also generated total profits of 1.79 trillion yuan, up 19.3% from the same period in the prior year.
