hashbank rolls out mobile app combining banking services with Web3 asset functions

Licensed digital bank hashbank, part of W Group, has launched a mobile app that combines traditional banking services with Web3 features in one environment. The app lets users receive more than 150 digital assets from external wallets, convert them into fiat for spending, or send them to external blockchain addresses. hashbank said it received a full banking license from the National Bank of Georgia in 2023 and now serves about 60,000 customers across 73 countries. The bank also said it is the first licensed bank in the South Caucasus and Central Asia to offer this kind of integrated model inside a mobile banking app. W Group founder and president Volodymyr Nosov said the company’s task is to build infrastructure bridges linking the Web2 and Web3 worlds, and described hashbank as part of that strategy.
