Danny Buijs was furious with referee Joey Kooij during Fortuna Sittard's away match against Feyenoord on Saturday afternoon. After a heavy collision involving Rodrigo Guth and Nacho Ferri, Kooij awarded Feyenoord a free-kick to restart play and Buijs shouted towards the fourth official.
The 23rd-minute decision
Buijs reacted angrily to the decision in the 23rd minute, after the collision between Guth and Feyenoord striker Nacho Ferri.
Buijs said: "Feyenoord get everything their way!"
Guth unable to continue
After treatment from Fortuna's medical staff, Guth returned to the pitch but soon showed he was suffering too much from the effects of his awkward landing.
A few minutes later, Guth went down again inside his own penalty area and could not continue.
Substitution before the break
Iván Márquez replaced Guth in the 30th minute.
The teams went into the dressing rooms at 0-0.
