GOAL reported that Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi is reportedly "not for sale" ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window. According to GOAL, citing Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad, an unnamed Club Brugge board member said Tresoldi is "not for sale" and that a move is closed for now.
Club Brugge's position
GOAL reported that a transfer for Tresoldi appears unlikely for the time being. According to the latest reports cited by GOAL, AC Milan will probably have to wait until the start of the new season.
AC Milan's interest
GOAL reported that AC Milan are said to lead the pursuit of Tresoldi. GOAL reported that La Gazzetta dello Sport recently said a Tresoldi transfer had become a personal priority for club owner Gerry Cardinale.
GOAL reported that Cardinale instructed the sporting management to explore the terms of a possible transfer. GOAL reported that they then contacted Tresoldi's advisers to sound them out about a deal. GOAL reported that whether AC Milan try to sign Tresoldi in January or wait until next summer remains unclear.
Tresoldi's numbers
In 14 competitive appearances across all competitions, Tresoldi has 12 goals. Tresoldi scored all three goals in Club Brugge's 3-2 win over VV St. Truiden in the Jupiler Pro League, and it was his third hat-trick in the past 26 days.
Tresoldi moved from Hannover 96 to Bruges for €7.5 million in 2025. Tresoldi remains under contract at Bruges until 30 June 2029. GOAL reported that Club Brugge are said to have set an asking price of €35 million for Tresoldi in the summer, and GOAL reported that Tresoldi's market value is now said to be above €50 million.
International future
Tresoldi was born in Italy and has also held German citizenship since 2022. Tresoldi could play for Germany as well as Italy.
Tresoldi was recently absent from Germany coach Jürgen Klopp's 44-man squad but played for Germany's Under-21s at the same time. Tresoldi has scored 16 goals in 27 international appearances for Germany's Under-21s. GOAL reported that Tresoldi does not want to decide his international future until after the junior European Championship next summer.
