GOAL previewed the Joy Elite League's ninth round before the Jeddah derby between Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli on 1 November, highlighting five under-21 players to watch including Suhaib Hosawi. The match will be played at the Tigers' stadium on Sunday 1 November.
Hosawi included before Jeddah derby
Hosawi is a winger for Al-Ittihad's under-21 side. Jens Vissing, the German head coach of Al-Ittihad's first team, gave Hosawi a maiden call-up to the Tigers squad for the Saudi Roshn League match against Abha, but Hosawi did not play in that game.
Mulla's numbers for Al-Ahli
Ziyad Mulla is a winger for Al-Ahli. He has scored 4 goals since the start of the current Roshn Saudi Pro League season, with a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Al-Fayha on the opening weekend and another goal in the second round. Six matches have passed without a goal for Mulla.
Al-Muhaimeed and Al-Anzi form
Louai Al-Muhaimeed is Al-Taawoun's number 10 and has three assists in the Joy Elite League this season. He scored twice in Al-Taawoun's 5-1 win over Al-Ettifaq last time out. Another positive result would keep Al-Taawoun third in the Joy Elite League table.
Abdulrahman Al-Anzi has scored 3 goals for Al-Nassr this season, with two of them coming in his last two matches against Al-Wehda and Al-Qadsiah. Al-Nassr visit Al-Khaleej in round nine, and Al-Khaleej have conceded 15 goals since the campaign began.
Osho faces fifth-placed Al-Fateh
Dayo Osho is a Nigerian striker for Al-Faisaly. He has scored 6 goals in this season's Joy Elite League and is fifth in the Joy Elite League scoring chart. Al-Faisaly face Al-Fateh, who are fifth in the table, and Osho has scored two goals in Al-Faisaly's last two matches against Al-Riyadh and Al-Khaleej.
