Crystal Palace boss Pierre Sage said Jean-Philippe Mateta is ready to return to the starting line-up for the trip to Tottenham on Saturday. Sage also gave updates on Jørgen Strand Larsen, Quinten Timber and Ismaïla Sarr.
Mateta set for starting return
Sage confirmed Mateta is ready to start for Crystal Palace against Tottenham on Saturday. Mateta was left out of Crystal Palace's win over Fulham on Wednesday as Palace managed his workload following his return from injury.
Sage said: "He’s ready to play, and we managed him yesterday, because he played two 60-minutes in seven days, and normally he has to play only two 30-minutes."
Sage said: "That’s why we left him out of the team yesterday, to be able to play and be ready to start against Tottenham."
Strand Larsen to train with group
On Strand Larsen, Sage said: "We will see today, he will train with the group today."
Sage said: "He’s trained individually for the moment, but today he will be ready to be with us."
Timber may get minutes on Saturday
On Timber, Sage said: "Tomorrow for him and maybe have some minutes with the team on Saturday."
Sarr still unavailable
On Sarr, Sage said: "For the moment, he’s not able to play."
