In an exclusive interview with Flashscore, Nicolas Abot said he wants help contacting Vozinha's former club in Cape Verde to try to score in Africa.

Flashscore published an exclusive interview with Nicolas Abot, who said he wants help contacting Vozinha's former club in Cape Verde so he can try to score in Africa and complete his goal-scoring challenge across all five continents.

Abot, 41, has already scored on four continents, and Africa is the only continent where he has yet to score.

Request to Vozinha

Abot asked goalkeeper Vozinha to send a message to his former club in Cape Verde so Abot can try to fulfil his dream.

Abot said: "Vozinha , I need you to send a little message to your former club in Cape Verde so I can fulfil my dream."

Target in Cape Verde

Abot has set his sights on Cape Verde as he looks to complete the challenge of scoring on all five continents and hopes the feat can be recognised by Guinness World Records.

Any eventual Guinness World Records entry would require official verification and recognition.

He has played for 43 clubs in 14 countries.

Career path and research

Abot's adventure began in 2007, when he left Olimpo in Argentina to play in Costa Rica.

He does not have an agent and handles finding clubs himself.

Abot said he had researched other footballers' achievements and found the case of Lutz Pfannenstiel, who was known for having played on every continent.

Abot speaks Spanish, Italian and English.

Abot's remarks

When asked about Sebastian 'Loco' Abreu, Abot said: "Loco and I need to have a barbecue and drink mate."

Abot said: "I look at the ones I won, because the ones we lose... If we are afraid of losing things, we will never go for a little bit more."

Abot said: "Football is a way of life for me. It opened many doors for me, but above all, it gave me the love to fight for what I want."

Abot estimated that there were around 10 occasions when he was not paid what he was owed over almost 20 years in the game.
