Nuno Espirito Santo gave injury updates on Jarrod Bowen and Konstantinos Mavropanos before West Ham's game against West Brom. Bowen returned to training after an ankle problem, while Mavropanos is recovering from a knee injury.
Bowen back in training
Nuno said Bowen is expected to be available against West Brom after recovering from an ankle problem suffered in training.
Nuno said: "Jarrod twisted his ankle in training. He had treatment for a couple of days, but he joined us today, and he seems okay."
Mavropanos injury less serious than feared
Nuno said Mavropanos' knee injury is not as serious as expected and that he is recovering well.
Nuno said: "We were concerned about his injury but thank god it’s not as serious as expected and he’s recovering quite well."
Mavropanos on the grass by himself
Nuno said Mavropanos was on the grass by himself.
Nuno said: "Let’s see how long it takes. He was on the grass today by himself so it’s positive in some ways."
Nuno also said: "We were afraid it was going to take longer but I think soon he’s going to be good."
