Paris Saint-Germain are closely monitoring Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi after his return from a long-term foot injury. Arsenal and Manchester United are also among the clubs interested in the 20-year-old, while TEAMtalk reports that Barcelona, Chelsea and Tottenham are continuing to track him.
Return from injury
Kroupi has recently recovered from a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot, an injury sustained in July. He spent three months out before returning to first-team action.
Bournemouth manager Marco Rose is managing Kroupi's minutes carefully after his return. Kroupi made a substitute appearance in Bournemouth's 3-0 victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, then made another substitute appearance in a 3-0 League Cup win over Aston Villa three days later.
Interest across Europe
Kroupi is a France Under-21 international and had already been attracting interest across Europe during the summer transfer window before his injury. According to TEAMtalk, PSG and Barcelona are both continuing to monitor Kroupi's progress closely now that he has officially returned to the pitch.
Recent reports indicate that Arsenal and Manchester United have formally added Kroupi to their transfer shortlists. According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea and Tottenham remain keen on signing Kroupi in the near future.
Bournemouth stance
Bournemouth do not want to let Kroupi leave in the upcoming winter window. At the time of GOAL's report, the club were 13th in the Premier League table.
GOAL says Bournemouth will not negotiate a January sale of Kroupi regardless of the financial offers presented.
PSG winter plans
GOAL says PSG are looking for a winter signing to compensate for the long-term injury absence of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
GOAL says Bournemouth's refusal to sell Kroupi in January is a hurdle for PSG's immediate transfer plans.
