Coach of the year contenders

Manchester United head coach Olid is in the running for coach of the year. She led Heart of Midlothian to their first Scottish Women's Premier League title last season before moving to England's Women's Super League, and won the PFA Scotland manager of the season award in May.

Leanne Crichton, Joelle Murray and Jack Beesley are also in the running for coach of the year. Rangers finished runners-up and currently lead the 2026-27 table, while Beesley led Spartans back to the top flight.

SWPL 1 player of the year race

Nicole Kozlova took the player award and is up against Saoirse Noonan, Katie Wilkinson and Georgia Timms for the SWPL 1 player of the year award. Timms left Hearts for Ipswich Town this summer.

Chelsea midfielder Cuthbert, Ballon d'Or nominee Weir, Lauren Davidson and Kathleen McGovern are on the shortlist for Scotland international player of the year. Weir joined Lyon from Real Madrid during the close season, while McGovern switched from Hibernian to Newcastle United.
