Reports in France say former Juventus and Bologna head coach Thiago Motta is among the candidates for the Olympique Lyonnais job if Paulo Fonseca leaves the club in the near future.
Fonseca exit reports
Football Italia said recent reports suggest that Fonseca could leave Lyon to return to Portugal and replace Rui Borges as Sporting CP head coach. According to L'Equipe, Fonseca has reportedly requested to leave Lyon.

Motta's availability
Motta has been available since leaving Juventus in March 2025. His contract with Juventus was formally terminated at the start of June this year.
