West Bromwich Albion beat West Ham 3-1 in the Championship on Saturday. The result moved Albion into the top four, while West Ham remained eighth and six points off the pace after a second straight home defeat.
How the goals came
Felix Horn Myhre put Albion ahead after 20 minutes from Jimmy-Jay Morgan's low centre. Jarrod Bowen then saw his shot deflect off Callum Styles and in at the near post for his seventh goal of the season.
Within three minutes of the restart, Jimmy-Jay Morgan fired Albion back in front after Felix Horn Myhre cushioned Isaac Price's cross into his path. Albion's third came when Isaac Price's corner was only half-cleared and Styles' shot from 20 yards was deflected in.
Pressure on West Ham
West Ham head coach Nuno Espirito Santo faced the wrath of the London Stadium crowd after the defeat. West Ham have now lost back-to-back home games, shipping six goals across the two defeats.
Injury and next match
Kyle Walker-Peters limped off with a thigh injury after Nuno had used all five substitutes. West Ham face Cardiff City on Wednesday.
