Ken's Pizza is not in the documented Kansas venue list
The published list of casinos in Kansas does not document any venue named Ken's Pizza, and it does not document any venue in Hutchinson. The list documents 10 venues across 9 cities, and Hutchinson is not among those cities. This means the article cannot state whether Ken's Pizza holds a liquor license, because no liquor license information for that business is documented here.
A liquor license for a restaurant is not the same thing as a casino license. The list this article draws from is a list of casinos, not a list of restaurants or a list of liquor license holders. A pizza restaurant would not appear on a casino list unless it also operated casino gaming, and no such venue is documented.
What the Kansas venue list documents
The published list documents 10 venues in Kansas. Of those, 6 are documented as native american and 4 as land-based. The cities with the most documented venues are Kansas City with 2, and Dodge City, White Cloud, Park City, Horton, and Pittsburg with 1 each.
Hutchinson is not among the documented cities. The documented cities with coordinates are Dodge City, Horton, Park City, and White Cloud. Hutchinson has no coordinates in the list, and no venue in Hutchinson is documented.
Where to find the liquor status of Ken's Pizza
The authoritative source for a restaurant's liquor license in Kansas is the Kansas Department of Revenue, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. That agency maintains the current records of who holds a liquor license, what type of license it is, and whether it is active. The article does not publish a phone number or address for that agency, but the reader can find its current contact page through a standard web search for the agency name.
The restaurant itself can also state whether it serves alcohol. A call to the business, a look at its menu, or a visit to its physical location will show whether beer, wine, or spirits are offered. The article cannot state the current hours or phone number for Ken's Pizza, because no such facts are documented here.
Why the casino list cannot answer a restaurant question
A casino list answers one narrow question: which venues operate casino gaming. It does not answer whether a restaurant holds a liquor license, because a restaurant without gaming would never appear on it. A restaurant with gaming would appear, but only if the list editor chose to include it and the venue met the list's definition of a casino.
The Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission is the state agency that oversees casino gaming. A liquor license is a separate matter handled by a different agency. The reader should not confuse the two.
Documented cities and their positions
The four cities with coordinates in the list give a rough geographic spread of documented casino activity in Kansas. Dodge City sits in the southwest, Horton in the northeast, Park City in the south-central area near Wichita, and White Cloud in the far northeast corner near the Missouri River. Hutchinson is not among them, so no coordinate-based distance can be stated for Hutchinson.
| Reference point | Straight-line miles | Measurement type |
|---|---|---|
| Dodge City | 0 | great-circle |
| Horton | 0 | great-circle |
| Park City | 0 | great-circle |
| White Cloud | 0 | great-circle |
The table above shows the only coordinate pairs supplied for this article. Each city is measured from itself, so the straight-line distance is zero. No distance from Hutchinson to any documented city can be stated, because Hutchinson has no coordinates in the list and no distance pair involving Hutchinson is documented.
Straight-line distance versus road distance
Straight-line distance, also called great-circle distance, is the shortest path between two points on the Earth's surface. Road distance is always longer, because roads follow terrain, avoid water, and connect through intersections rather than cutting directly across. The article does not publish road mileage or driving time for any pair, including any pair involving Hutchinson.
If the reader wants the road distance from their own location to Ken's Pizza in Hutchinson, they should use a mapping tool that accepts their starting address and the restaurant's street address. The article cannot compute that distance, because the reader's starting point is not documented here and the restaurant's street address is not documented here.
What to confirm before you go
Before visiting Ken's Pizza in Hutchinson, the reader should confirm three things. First, whether the restaurant currently serves alcohol, by checking the Kansas Department of Revenue's Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control or by calling the restaurant. Second, the restaurant's current hours and address, which are not documented in this article. Third, whether any local ordinance affects alcohol service at that specific address.
The channels that hold the current answer are the state alcohol beverage control agency, the restaurant's own published contact page, and the city of Hutchinson's local government pages. The article does not publish URLs, phone numbers, or street addresses, so the reader should search for those channels directly.
