The Floor Is Documented; the Machine List Is Not
WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma, has a documented gaming floor of 370,000 square feet, and that figure comes from publicly published reference sources describing the property after its 2009 expansion. The question of whether a specific branded title such as Wizard of Oz is currently on that floor is a different kind of question, and no static reference can answer it. Slot inventory changes as machines are rotated, leased, retired, or moved between sections, and the only source that can confirm a particular title is the venue's own current floor listing or guest services channel.
This article can tell you where the venue is, how large its documented gaming area is, how it sits relative to other reference points, and how to confirm the machine question yourself. It cannot tell you today's machine list, because that is a live operational detail rather than a fixed geographic or structural fact.
What the Documented Figures Cover
The gaming square footage is a facility measurement, not a promise about any individual game. A 370,000-square-foot casino floor can hold thousands of machines, but the mix of titles on that floor is managed by the operator and changes over time. Publicly published reference sources record the floor area as a point-in-time figure tied to the property's expansion and renaming in 2009, and figures like this are revised as properties rebuild or reconfigure.
The venue is owned and operated by the Chickasaw Nation. The property opened as WinStar Casinos in 2004 and was expanded with a hotel tower and renamed WinStar World Casino in 2009. Ownership and branding of casino properties change through sales and rebrands, so the current operator name is the one to verify on the property's own site.
Where the Venue Sits
WinStar World Casino is located in Thackerville, Oklahoma, near the Oklahoma–Texas state line. Its coordinates place it in the southern part of Oklahoma, close to the border with Texas. The nearest large documented reference city in the supplied set is Dallas, Texas, at 70.2 straight-line miles, and Arlington, Texas, at 72.8 straight-line miles. Oklahoma City is 120.2 straight-line miles away, and Tulsa is 177.4 straight-line miles away.
Because the venue sits near a state line, a reader approaching from Texas crosses a state boundary, and road routing will reflect that. Straight-line distance ignores the road network, and the actual drive will always be longer than the figures below.

The table is not exhaustive of every possible origin; it reflects the reference points that exist in the documented set for this venue. If the pair you are asking about is not listed, this article cannot measure that specific distance.
Why Straight-Line and Road Distance Diverge
A great-circle distance is the shortest path across the surface of the earth between two coordinate points. It ignores everything on the ground. Roads, by contrast, follow terrain, avoid bodies of water, connect population centers, and obey state and county boundaries. The result is that a road route is always longer than the straight-line figure, sometimes by a small margin and sometimes by a very large one.
For WinStar World Casino, the Oklahoma–Texas state line is a relevant factor. A traveler approaching from the Texas side crosses a state boundary, and the road network on either side was not designed to point at this single venue. Terrain in the region is generally rolling, and the Red River lies south of the property, which can force routing decisions that a straight line does not account for. None of these factors can be converted into a driving time or a road mileage figure from the data available here.
How to Answer the Wizard of Oz Question Yourself
The only reliable way to confirm whether a specific slot title is currently on WinStar's floor is to check the venue's own current floor listing or to contact guest services directly. The property's website is the channel that carries current machine information, and the guest services line is the channel for a direct answer. Do not rely on a third-party list, a forum post, or an older article, because machine inventory rotates.
When you contact the venue or check its site, ask specifically about the title you want, and ask whether it is on the main floor or in a particular section. Casinos sometimes group branded titles together, but that grouping is an operational choice and changes. The answer you get will be current at the moment you ask, and nothing more.
What to Confirm Before You Go
Before traveling to WinStar World Casino, confirm the items that change. The venue's own booking page holds current room information for its 1,399 documented hotel rooms, but room availability and rates are live and not published here. The property's hours page holds current operating hours. The floor listing or guest services channel holds the current slot inventory, including whether Wizard of Oz titles are present. Parking and entry policies, if any, are published by the property and should be checked on its site. None of these changeable items can be stated in a fixed reference article.
