European Crypto Debit Cards
Plutus, a London-based startup launched in 2015, is one of the longest-running non-custodial services. It supports ETH and its native PLU token, allowing users to retain control of private keys. The card is usable in nearly 200 countries and can be topped up with GBP or EUR. Plutus also offers a free virtual bank account to EEA residents.
Wirex, founded in 2014, was the first to release a contactless multi-currency Visa card. It boasts over 3 million customers across 130 countries and has processed $2 billion in transactions. Wirex supports multiple major cryptocurrencies and offers 0.5% BTC cashback on in-store purchases (up to 1.5% for holders of 500,000 WXT tokens). Monthly maintenance fee is £1.00/€1.20/$1.50.
Monolith positions itself as a "decentralized bank," storing ETH and ERC-20 tokens in its mobile wallet for spending via a Visa card. DEX integration and ENS support are planned.
Revolut, a UK digital bank, allows users from the EEA to buy, hold, and exchange cryptocurrencies alongside 30 fiat currencies. Instant exchange incurs a flat 1.5% fee. Crypto features are only available on paid plans: £6.99/month for Premium, £12.99/month for Metal.
Cryptopay offers a plastic prepaid card ($15) and a virtual card ($2.50), supporting BTC along with GBP, USD, and EUR. Available in the UK, Russia, and soon Singapore.

Bitpay’s debit card is available exclusively to U.S. residents. It supports BTC, ETH, XRP, GUSD, USDC, PAX, and BCH. Card cost: $9.95. Top-ups via 8 fiat currencies from the Bitpay wallet. Currency conversion fee: 3%. International ATM fee: $3. Daily transaction limit: $10,000. Daily/monthly ATM withdrawal limit: $1,500/$5,000. Wirex plans to launch in the U.S. in Q2 2020.
Global Crypto Debit Cards
Paycent, based in Singapore, has onboarded 94,000 customers since April 2018. It supports BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC, XRP, DASH, and is accepted by 36 million merchants in 200 countries. Three card tiers: Ruby (UnionPay, daily limit $5,000, no monthly fee), Sapphire (UnionPay International, daily spend $5,600 / withdrawal $1,650), Solitaire (Mastercard, daily spend $13,000 / withdrawal $10,000). Each card costs $49; Sapphire and Solitaire charge $2/month.
Crypterium, launched in 2019, works at over 50 million merchants in 178 countries and 2.5 million ATMs. Supports BTC, ETH, LTC, and CRPT. Card package (physical + virtual): $25. No monthly fees unless upgrading to Plus or Premium plans. Daily transaction limit: $10,000; monthly: $60,000.
Crypto.com’s MCO Visa card (formerly Monaco Card) is available in the U.S., Europe, and much of APAC. Five tiers offer 1–5% cashback in MCO tokens. Up to $120,000 annual ATM withdrawal; top-tier card holders get $1,000/month fee-free ATM withdrawals.
