As of Dec. 31, 2025, Anthropic held $20.28 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments. Its two largest direct customers each contributed 12% of annual revenue, for a combined 24%.

A Federal Reserve inspector general said one employee may have taken confidential Fed information when leaving the institution. The specific content of the information has not been confirmed.
Earlier, the Office of Inspector General released a report saying some regional Federal Reserve directors received briefings from policymakers around monetary policy meetings and may have had access to nonpublic information that could be used for personal benefit. The report said a review of meeting records involving the Board and regional Fed presidents found cases where 「sensitive FOMC information may have been disclosed to directors」. The Federal Reserve Board disputed that conclusion, saying policymakers and staff are prohibited from providing FOMC confidential information to directors and that the briefings do not create a risk of directors obtaining confidential information.
Project and protocol updates
Omnity Network said it will gradually wind down operations after running out of operating funds. Its Bitcoin DeFi products, RichSwap and Satsman, will shut down within the next 30 days.
The team urged RichSwap liquidity providers to withdraw liquidity as soon as possible. It also said it will upgrade smart contracts to remove existing lockup restrictions so users can withdraw funds without limits. A detailed timetable and liquidity withdrawal guide will be released soon. Support channels will remain open for 30 days during the transition.

Under the proposal, holders of unlocked WLFI must lock their tokens for at least 180 days and directly participate in governance voting at least once every 90 days to qualify for dynamically calculated rewards. Delegated voting does not count toward the participation requirement. The program is planned for launch before Oct. 1 and will replace the original proposal passed on March 12.
Ether.fi said it will cut the last structural link between its staked token and restaking protocol EigenLayer by the end of this quarter. As of August, less than 1% of Ether.fi assets remained in a restaked state, and EigenPod withdrawal credentials are expected to be removed before year-end.
When Ether.fi launched in 2024, user deposits were automatically placed into EigenLayer for restaking. In August this year, the protocol removed the restaking function from weETH, turning it into a standard liquid staking token. Users who want to keep participating in restaking need to choose a separate token based on Symbiotic.

Market commentary from Tom Lee
Bitmine chairman Tom Lee said the company now holds more than 6 million ETH and built that position in less than 15 months. He said Bitmine’s holdings are now close to 5% of ETH’s total supply and that the company has already seen the resulting synergies and network effects.
Lee also said the crypto bull market began at the end of June and that signs still support that view. In his view, institutional investors remain underallocated to crypto assets and may increase exposure in the final months of 2026. Through the third quarter to date, ETH has outperformed other macro assets by 6,728 basis points.
