Bitcoin.com reported that 28 long-dormant Bitcoin wallets transferred a combined 1,314.41 BTC over the past 24 hours, with the haul valued at about $94.03 million. Wallets created in 2014 accounted for 1,214.42 BTC, or 92.4% of the total, worth roughly $86 million. The report said 21 transactions each moved 50 BTC, with funds consolidated from legacy P2PKH wallets into new P2WPKH addresses, and some of those transfers were confirmed in the same block. Arkham’s entity labels do not currently show any connection between the addresses and exchanges. Bitcoin.com also said the 2014 wallet holders had acquired their BTC at around $310 to $427, implying gains of at least 16,645% on those holdings. Separately, three wallets from 2016 moved 79.99 BTC, while two addresses from 2017 transferred 20 BTC.

According to Bitcoin.com, 28 long-dormant Bitcoin wallets moved a combined 1,314.41 BTC over the past 24 hours, worth about $94.03 million.

Wallets created in 2014 were responsible for 1,214.42 BTC of that total, or 92.4%, with an estimated value of roughly $86 million.

Based on the report, the 2014 wallet holders bought their Bitcoin at around $310 to $427, putting the appreciation on those holdings at no less than 16,645%.
