Aave said it has selected Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP, as the standard for its cross-chain infrastructure. The protocol is already being used through Aave’s delivery infrastructure, a.DI, to handle cross-chain GHO transfers and multi-chain governance execution. Aave also said Stable Vaults will later support cross-chain logic in the Aave App, extending the setup to treasury rebalancing, yield optimization, deposits, and transfers. Those cross-chain operations are set to take place across Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum.
