The cryptocurrency market has regained some momentum as traders rotate back into AI-related themes, with decentralized storage tokens and AI-linked meme assets leading recent gains. Current price action suggests capital is concentrating around narrative-driven segments, particularly AI infrastructure and lightweight consumer-facing AI concepts.
Storage tokens rebound on AI demand story
Among decentralized storage names, Filecoin (FIL) climbed from $0.90 to $1.30 before settling near $1.14, while Storj (STORJ) also moved higher. The rally reflects a broader attempt by the market to connect AI growth with demand for data storage and infrastructure, giving legacy storage projects renewed relevance in the current cycle.
Open-source AI model theme draws attention
Another standout has been the open-source model narrative. Base ecosystem token VVV surged from $1.6 to $16, making it one of the most eye-catching movers in the AI segment. Its platform, Venice AI, supports a range of AI applications and integrates multiple open-source models, helping position the token at the center of a fast-emerging crypto-AI story.
Meme and AI crossover fuels speculative interest
In the Solana ecosystem, the market is also embracing a “lightweight Meme + AI” approach. Goblin rose 137% in a single day, combining meme branding with AI concepts and an on-chain agent-led buyback mechanism. At the same time, AI meme token ZEREBRO expanded from a $7 million market cap to $50 million, highlighting how quickly speculative capital can move into high-volatility narrative trades.
Rally remains selective rather than broad-based
Still, not every AI-focused token has joined the move. Previously noted names such as ACT, FARTCOIN, and GOAT have remained relatively quiet, suggesting the latest AI wave is selective and centered on fresh stories rather than broad sector-wide adoption. For now, AI is clearly helping crypto recover attention and liquidity, but whether this momentum reflects lasting innovation or short-term speculation remains an open question.
