Alibaba is preparing to launch its personal AI agent, Qianwen Go!, according to test cases that have surfaced ahead of release. The product is described as being able to operate real apps and handle complicated tasks that require repeated lookups and customer communication.
Test cases show airline delay compensation and Taobao price protection claims
In one example, a user only remembered that a previous round-trip flight between Lanzhou and Hangzhou had been delayed, but could not recall the exact itinerary. Qianwen Go! checked four orders from four airlines one by one and ultimately identified China Eastern flight MU2445.
After encountering obstacles over the phone, the agent switched to online customer service. The initial offer was a 70 yuan voucher. After the user said that was unacceptable, Qianwen Go! continued the negotiation and eventually secured a 70 yuan cash payment, which was transferred to the user’s Alipay account.
In another case, Qianwen Go! automatically reviewed a user’s Taobao orders, found that a wok was eligible for price protection, and successfully obtained a 52 yuan refund for the price difference.
Early scenarios extend to after-sales service and flexible task execution
The first batch of use cases also includes getting quotes and booking auto maintenance, reserving sports venues, and calculating the effective purchase price of home appliances after combining subsidies, old-device trade-in value, and delivery and installation fees.
Qianwen had previously been integrated with Alibaba ecosystem services including Taobao, Fliggy, and Amap, allowing it to help users shop, order takeout, and book flights. This upgrade pushes the product into after-sales support, claims handling, and other tasks without a fixed workflow, where the agent needs to keep adjusting its operating path based on execution results.
