Fresh data cited by Odaily shows a sharp rise in altcoin transfers to trading platforms. The seven-day cumulative count of altcoin deposit transactions reached 78,000 on Sept. 28, up about 160% from roughly 29,800 on Sept. 14, marking the highest level since October 2025. Over the same period, the number of addresses sending altcoins to exchanges climbed from about 17,600 to 51,600, close to a threefold increase and also a near one-year high. The figures suggest the inflow was broad-based rather than concentrated in a small number of wallets. In the data interpretation cited in the report, moving tokens onto exchanges usually signals preparation to sell, which may point to potential selling pressure. At the same time, altcoins have recently outperformed Bitcoin on a relative basis. Bitcoin dominance has fluctuated between 58% and 60.4% since May 27 and remains below 60%. Crypto assets ranked outside the top 10 accounted for 9% of total market capitalization on Sept. 27, the highest share since February this year.
