AMLBot said it has detected signs that funds stolen from Bitget have started moving through Wasabi CoinJoin in what it described as a money-laundering route. According to the monitoring update, roughly 4 BTC in CoinJoin transactions can be traced back to a Bitget wallet on TRON. The path outlined by AMLBot shows the funds moving from TRX into USDT, then crossing to Ethereum through USDT0, where they were swapped into about 145 ETH. From there, the assets were converted through THORChain into about 4.59 BTC. AMLBot said the bitcoin was then split into smaller parts before entering CoinJoin. The statement was posted through AMLBot’s X account and did not provide additional details beyond the transaction trail it identified.
