AMLBot said it has detected signs that part of the funds stolen in the Bitget hack may have started moving through Wasabi CoinJoin. According to the monitoring update, the funds originally came from a Bitget wallet on TRON. The attacker first swapped TRX into USDT, then bridged the assets to Ethereum through USDT0. After that, the funds were converted into about 145 ETH and later exchanged through THORChain for roughly 4.59 BTC. AMLBot said the BTC was then split into smaller portions and went through a preprocessing stage before entering CoinJoin. The update outlines a cross-chain path that spans TRON, Ethereum and Bitcoin, with THORChain and Wasabi CoinJoin appearing in the flow. No other details were provided in the brief notice.

According to Odaily, AMLBot said monitoring data shows that part of the funds stolen in the Bitget hack may have started moving through Wasabi CoinJoin.
