Andrew Tate’s Solana-linked memecoin DADDY was trading around $0.008 on Thursday, down 97% from its 2024 peak of $0.29, according to Protos. The drop came as Tate and his brother Tristan remained in custody at Miami’s Federal Detention Center after US Marshals arrested them on Saturday on a sealed warrant tied to UK extradition proceedings. The brothers were detained outside Miami’s James L. Knight Center while heading to a boxing event Andrew Tate was scheduled to co-host. The UK’s Crown Prosecution Service has authorized 38 additional charges involving four more alleged victims, bringing the total to seven. Andrew Tate faces seven new counts tied to rape, trafficking, assault, child sex-abuse images, and extreme pornography. Tristan Tate faces two rape counts, one sexual assault count, and three trafficking counts. A court hearing took place Monday before Judge Lauren Louis, with another set for July 27. Protos also said DADDY lost more than a quarter of its value in the two days after the arrest and 50% over the past week, leaving its market capitalization below $5 million. Bubblemaps previously found that the token’s deployer sent 40% of total supply to Tate’s wallet.

Andrew Tate’s memecoin DADDY has kept sliding as the influencer remains in custody in Miami, with the Solana token now trading 97% below its 2024 high, according to Protos.

Protos reported that Andrew Tate, 39, and his brother Tristan Tate, 38, were arrested on Saturday by US Marshals outside Miami’s James L. Knight Center on a sealed warrant connected to UK extradition proceedings. The two were on their way to a boxing event that Andrew Tate was scheduled to co-host.

The report said this was not the first time the brothers had been held by government authorities. While detained, Andrew Tate continued posting on X about jail conditions, including claims that he was housed next to an alleged cannibal who screams through the night.

In one post, Tate wrote, “I am being held in SHU,” referring to the Special Housing Unit at the Federal Detention Center in Miami, a facility operated by the US Bureau of Prisons. Protos said he inaccurately described it as “the highest level of security which exists” and added, “No commissary. No visits. No contact with the outside world.”

Protos noted that this claimed lack of outside contact still coincided with more than three million impressions on a single post, along with a dozen posts or reposts over the past 48 hours, plus distribution through Tate’s other social channels and broad media coverage of the arrest.

Tate’s full post read: “I am being held in SHU, the highest level of security which exists. No commissary. No visits. No contact with the outside world. My neighbor is a cannibal who screams throughout the night.”

UK prosecutors add 38 more charges

Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service has authorized 38 further charges against the Tate brothers, involving four additional alleged victims and bringing the total number to seven, the report said.

Andrew Tate personally faces seven fresh counts covering rape, trafficking, assault, as well as charges related to child sex-abuse images and extreme pornography. Tristan Tate faces two rape counts, one sexual assault count, and three trafficking counts.

Malcolm McHaffie, head of the CPS special crime division, said, “We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences relating to indecent images of a child.”

The brothers appeared before Judge Lauren Louis on Monday, and another hearing is scheduled for Monday, July 27. For now, they remain at the Federal Detention Center in downtown Miami.

According to Protos, Justice Department filings submitted this week asked the court to keep both men detained during the extradition process, alleging that the brothers strangled women unconscious before raping them. Their lawyer, Joseph McBride, told reporters, “This feels political.”

DADDY stays deep below its all-time high

Tate adopted DADDY as his personal token in June 2024. The Solana memecoin was trading around $0.008 on Thursday afternoon, down 97% from its all-time high of $0.29, Protos said. Its market capitalization is now below $5 million.

The token lost more than a quarter of its value in the two days following the arrest and is down 50% over the past seven days.

Bubblemaps previously found that DADDY’s deployer sent 40% of the token’s total supply directly to Tate’s wallet.

Protos also said the Tate brothers promoted more than 10 Solana memecoins during the 2024 celebrity token craze, and most of them later fell by roughly 99%.

TOPG, another Tate-themed memecoin that Protos described as possibly unauthorized, is now trading 99.8% below its June 2024 peak on less than $200 in daily volume. Another token, Tate Terminal, sits more than 99% below its October 2024 high.

As of Protos’ report, the extradition process and criminal proceedings were still moving forward, while Tate-linked memecoins remained far below their earlier highs.
