Crypto KOL Ansem said on Aug. 3 that the current market cycle could become "very, very crazy," arguing that an "onchain supercycle" has already arrived. In his view, the setup is very different from the previous cycle, when roughly 90% of retail investors ended up serving as exit liquidity for smart money. He attributed that earlier dynamic to centralized exchanges listing meme coins only after they had already reached multi-billion-dollar valuations, unstable infrastructure, and a lack of easy-to-use mobile apps. This time, Ansem said, retail traders can buy any trending onchain asset across chains in less than a minute, with one-click cross-chain access sharply reducing friction for speculation in low-cap tokens. He also said centralized exchanges have become more aggressive about listings after missing large volumes, adding that Coinbase has natively integrated Coinbase Wallet so users can join new token launches instantly. Ansem added that meme coin trading volume could draw in not only retail capital but also developers, as open blockchains and AI tools such as Fable make it easier to turn ideas into immediate liquidity. He said he is bullish on tokenization and novel applications, and specifically highlighted tokens that can keep capturing and compounding attention, including ANSEM.

Crypto KOL Ansem said in a post on Aug. 3 that this cycle could get "very, very crazy," and argued that an "onchain supercycle" has arrived.

Ansem said that in the last cycle, about 90% of retail investors ended up as exit liquidity for smart money. He attributed that to centralized exchanges listing meme coins only after they had already reached valuations in the billions of dollars, infrastructure that remained unstable for long periods, and the lack of user-friendly mobile apps.

He said the situation is now very different. Retail investors can buy any trending onchain asset across chains in under a minute with one-click cross-chain execution, bringing the friction of speculating on low-cap tokens down to what he described as a record low.

Ansem also said centralized exchanges are moving faster on listings after missing out on large trading volumes. He specifically noted that Coinbase has natively integrated Coinbase Wallet, allowing users to take part in new token launches instantly.

He added that meme coin volume will attract not only retail capital but also developers. According to Ansem, open blockchains allow capable developers to use AI tools such as Fable to quickly turn ideas into immediate liquidity.

On market themes, Ansem said he is bullish on tokenization and new applications. He also singled out tokens that can continuously capture and compound attention, including ANSEM, saying they stand to benefit significantly in a bull market.
