Anthropic has formally filed for an initial public offering, according to ChainCatcher. Its S-1 cash flow statement shows that from 2023 through the first half of 2026, the company raised about $140 billion in cash through preferred stock, convertible notes, and SAFE agreements. Of that total, $110 billion was raised in the first half of 2026, including a $65.2 billion Series H round. As of June 30, 2026, Anthropic reported $112.4 billion in cash and cash equivalents and $19.3 billion in short-term investments, for a combined total of about $132 billion, plus $2.5 billion in restricted cash. The filing also listed other funding sources, including a $15 billion undrawn revolving credit facility expanded in September 2026 and up to $77 billion in partner note financing. That partner financing includes $20 billion from Google, $15 billion from Amazon tied to compute milestones, and $42 billion from Broadcom that can only be used to pay lease rent. The filing also said IPO proceeds would add to those resources. Based on the disclosed figures, Anthropic’s cash holdings exceed those of Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft, trailing only Alphabet at $242 billion. Its projected spending schedule also shows annual compute commitments of about $37 billion to SpaceXAI starting in December 2026, with total compute commitments of roughly $780 billion to $810 billion.

The company’s S-1 cash flow statement shows that from 2023 through the first half of 2026, it raised about $140 billion in cash through preferred stock, convertible notes, and SAFE agreements. Of that amount, $110 billion was raised in the first half of 2026, including a $65.2 billion Series H financing round.

As of June 30, 2026, Anthropic reported remaining liquidity of $112.4 billion in cash and cash equivalents and $19.3 billion in short-term investments, for a combined total of about $132 billion. It also held another $2.5 billion in restricted cash.

Other funding channels listed in the filing include a $15 billion undrawn revolving credit facility, expanded in September 2026, and up to $77 billion in partner note financing. That partner financing includes $20 billion from Google, $15 billion from Amazon tied to compute milestones, and $42 billion from Broadcom that is restricted to lease-rent payments. The filing said IPO proceeds would be added on top of those resources.

Based on those figures, Anthropic’s cash holdings are higher than those of Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft, and trail only Alphabet, which was listed at $242 billion.

The company’s projected spending statement also shows that starting in December 2026, Anthropic has committed about $37 billion per year in compute spending to SpaceXAI alone. Its total compute commitments were listed at roughly $780 billion to $810 billion.
