AP Memory said it has completed pricing for an overseas Global Depositary Receipt, or GDR, offering through a cash capital increase. The deal size came to $415.5 million, with each GDR unit priced at $56.15. Using the exchange rate of 31.972 cited by the company, the implied price works out to about NT$897.61 per share.
According to the company filing, AP Memory issued 7.4 million GDR units. Each unit represents two common shares, bringing the total number of represented common shares to 14.8 million. The GDRs are scheduled to begin trading on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange on Oct. 15.
AP Memory said all funds raised from the overseas offering will be used to meet financing needs for foreign-currency raw material purchases. The company added that the capital increase is expected to dilute existing equity by about 8.32%, but said the move is aimed at expanding international visibility and improving corporate image. Under its long-term plan to lift overall competitiveness, AP Memory said the transaction should deliver tangible positive benefits for shareholder interests.
AI and HPC push remains in focus
The report said AP Memory has been pushing a broader business transition in recent years. Alongside its existing IoTRAM business, the company has been moving into advanced packaging for AI and HPC, or high-performance computing. Its S-SiCap product line, designed for 2.5D and 3D advanced packaging, has entered mass production and has become a key recent growth driver.
For AI accelerators, AP Memory’s VHM technology is currently undergoing advanced technical validation with customers in forward-looking projects, according to the report.
Revenue and share performance highlighted
The article said AP Memory has recently drawn strong capital-market attention as AI silicon capacitor themes and operating performance supported the stock. Based on the figures cited, the company’s September consolidated revenue reached NT$1.189 billion, up 90.15% from a year earlier. Its share price also briefly climbed to NT$1,090 in early October, placing it among Taiwan’s so-called four-digit share price names.
Market participants cited in the report said AP Memory completed the fundraising while AI-related momentum was supporting its stock performance. In their view, the timing helps strengthen foreign-currency operating funds and reduce exchange-rate risk, while also giving the company more financial resources as it expands its global market presence in the AI semiconductor supply chain.
