Arc, the layer-1 network under Circle, has open-sourced a sample USDC lending application built with Borrow Kit. The demo walks through the full borrowing flow, including market discovery, loan sizing, depositing cirBTC as collateral, borrowing USDC, monitoring position health, repayment, and liquidation. According to the official description, developers do not need to write custom smart contracts for the example, nor do they need to maintain a direct integration with a lending protocol. The release is framed as a developer-facing reference implementation that shows how the borrowing process can be handled across each step using Arc’s tooling and Borrow Kit. The announcement was posted via Arc’s official X account.
