Guidance and full-year outlook

For the quarter about to be reported, ASML previously guided for revenue of 11 billion to 12 billion euros and a gross margin of 55% to 57%. The company also raised its full-year revenue outlook to 43 billion to 45 billion euros.

Equipment demand tied to AI processor production

ASML is the world’s only commercial producer of extreme ultraviolet lithography equipment. Foundries including TSMC, Intel and Samsung rely on its systems to manufacture advanced AI processors. The company is also developing the next-generation High-NA EUV.

Intel has already used the equipment in research, testing and manufacturing, processing more than 1 million wafers. Samsung plans to introduce it into advanced DRAM mass production in 2028.

The market also expects ASML to increase production capacity for its current EUV systems by about 30% in 2027.
