Aviva Investors, a London-based asset manager, has launched tokenized shares of its U.S. liquidity fund on the XRP Ledger after receiving approval from the Central Bank of Ireland, according to Cointelegraph. The product is open to qualified investors, who can participate through digital wallets. The underlying assets remain in custody with BNY Mellon, while Komainu is handling digital asset custody and Licuido is providing the tokenization infrastructure. The fund invests in highly rated short-term U.S. dollar-denominated debt securities and money market instruments. Aviva Investors said the tokenized shares carry the same investment objective and liquidity profile as the traditional version of the fund.
