Amazon Web Services said it will discontinue Amazon Managed Blockchain, its managed blockchain service, on Sept. 29, 2027. The company will stop accepting new customer registrations on Oct. 29, 2026, while existing users will be able to keep using the service until the shutdown date. After that, access to all AMB functions will be cut off. Amazon Managed Blockchain launched in 2019 and was designed to help enterprises simplify the deployment and management of blockchain networks. AWS is advising current customers to move their data and applications before the end-of-support date, either to other blockchain solutions or to other AWS services. Amazon Web Services said Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) will reach end of support on Sept. 29, 2027.

Under the timeline announced by AWS, new customer registrations will stop on Oct. 29, 2026. Existing customers can continue using the service until Sept. 29, 2027. After that date, they will no longer be able to access any AMB functions.
