Crypto exchange Backpack announced today that users can now deposit Micron (MU) and SanDisk (SNDK) stocks as collateral into a unified portfolio margin account covering stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other assets. The stock holdings can be used for USD borrowing, futures trading, and spot margin.

Backpack previously offered 24/7 trading of select US stocks to international investors, granting full ownership of the traded shares and enabling 1:1 bridging between traditional securities and tokenized assets on Solana. The new collateral options are limited to these two stocks, while the exchange also launched perpetual contracts for MU, SNDK, SPY, and QQQ.

Backpack stated that more assets will be listed in the future, but did not disclose a specific timeline.
