Rune later pushed back again, saying Coinbase’s core problem is not just detachment from users but a long-running pattern of ignoring or harming them. He claimed that more than 10,000 Base users suffered roughly 99% asset losses after trusting Base/Coinbase leadership, and said the management team’s response has added to community anger.
