Binance has introduced a Smart DCA advanced option for its recurring buy feature, automatically adjusting investment amounts based on the CoinMarketCap Fear & Greed Index. Users can set allocation ratios from 10% to 200% for oversold (0-40) and overbought (60-100) zones, buying more during fear and less during greed. The feature supports single-coin recurring buys for crypto tokens only, excluding stock tokens.

Binance has rolled out a Smart DCA advanced option within its recurring buy (Dollar-Cost Averaging) feature, leveraging the CoinMarketCap Fear & Greed Index as a market sentiment gauge to dynamically adjust each purchase amount. Users can configure distinct investment ratios for two zones: the oversold zone (index 0-40) and the overbought zone (60-100). In the oversold zone, they can set a multiplier of 10% to 200% to ramp up accumulation during market panic; conversely, in the overbought zone, the amount can be reduced to as low as 10% to scale back during euphoria.

This automated strategy aims to remove emotional bias from investing, effectively executing a contrarian 'buy low, sell high' approach. The Smart DCA option is available for single-coin recurring buy plans for crypto tokens, but does not support stock tokens at this time. Binance notes that this upgrade transforms traditional fixed-amount DCA into a dynamic, sentiment-aware tool better suited for the high volatility of cryptocurrency markets.
