According to on-chain analyst Ember, the crypto market has been under pressure over the last five days, with Bitcoin (BTC) down 16% and Ethereum (ETH) declining 21%. In stark contrast, the meme token "Binance Life" rallied 62% in the same period, attracting significant attention from whale investors.
On-chain data indicates that this countertrend surge was likely driven by nearly $28 million in concentrated buying. Specifically, two addresses withdrew 14 million USDT from the Bybit exchange over five days and subsequently purchased 21.1 million Binance Life tokens on-chain at an average price of approximately $0.66, totaling around $13.9 million. This purchase provided substantial buy-side support for the token.
In addition, another address withdrew 21.5 million Binance Life tokens from the Binance exchange over the past two days, worth approximately $14 million at prevailing prices. This withdrawal further confirms whale interest in the asset. Combined, the two waves of capital totaled over $27.9 million, a sum that closely matches the token's recent price surge and underscores the dominant role of whale capital in this rally.
